CNC Diamond Cutting

This type of finished first started to appear around 10 years ago with Honda being one of the first manufacturers to introduce it. Now virtually every manufacturer has a car in its range with this finish and the good news is we’ve been refurbishing them now for many many years.

You can tell if you have this type of wheel by looking closely at the face you can sometimes see very faint lines running around the face and these are the grooves left behind by the diamond tipped cutting insert when it was first made.

This type of refurbishment does take a little longer than a painted finish but typically we still turn them around within 24 hours and use a specific self etching clear coat imported from Germany just for these types of rims. Tyre removal, refit and balance is all included and done in house.
